• Wear a helmet to prevent blows to your head
• Obey traffic signals
• Stop and look to make sure the road is clear
• Ride in safe areas
• Remain watchful
• Check your bicycle breaks before using it.
• Wear pads, reflective vest and try to be visible at all times
